The Faraday plate is an electromagnetic plate designed for an experimental restaurant specialized in molecular cuisine. The plate has an embedded electromagnet which makes an editable item, hooked with a steel pin, levitate above the plate. The plate was named after Michael Faraday who established the basis for the concept of the electromagnetic field in physics.
